A Cape silver teapot, Jan Lotter, c.1813-1817 ovoid body, the shoulder engraved with a foliate band, the rim and footrim applied with gadrooned borders, the domed hinged cover engraved with wrigglework band and surmounted by a part gilt bud-and-leaf finial, the side applied with an ebonised handle, 775g,17cm high.
