The son of Georg Christoffel Wolhuter and Rebekka Wilhelmina Hartog. Baptized at the Cape in 1792. Recorded working at 13 Waterkant Street from 1818 to 1823, St John Street from 1824 to 1825 and from Hoop Street from 1826 to 1827
