Thomas Lock Townsend
Active 1815- 1849
Listed as a goldsmith and jeweler at 9 Berg Street in 1815 and at various other addresses until 1839. He worked with his brother John Townsend between 1824 and 1825 (shared marks). Between 1840 and 1847 he is listed as running an equipment store, fitting out warehouse and being a lodging house keeper. From 1847 he is again listed as a jeweler and in 1849 as a mechanical dentist.
